The Technequip™ Valve Group of FLSmidth Krebs has a long history of manufacturing and supplying equipment for the mining and mineral processing industry. Founded in 1957, Technequip™ was integrated into FLSmidth Krebs in 2007. Building on over 60 years of valve manufacturing experience FLSmidth Krebs has refined three (3) product groups for the mineral processing market.
Technequip™ Knife Gate Valves – open, wide body, bi-direction, full port knife gate valve with extremely thick replaceable wear sleeves and multiple options. Designed specifically for harsh, abrasive slurries encountered in the mineral processing and power generation industries.
Manufactured in both Imperial and Metric sizes ranging from 2” (50 mm) to 54” (1350 mm). Available in a variety of actuation choices: manual handwheel, manual chain, bevel gear, pneumatic, hydraulic and electric. Numerous accessories are available as options, including but not limited to, solenoids, limit switches, junction boxes and alternative gate materials. Lining materials include pure gum rubber, chlorobutyl, neoprene and EPDM.
Standard (no cost) options included are: 17-4 PH SS gate material, fluorocarbon coated gates, stem cover, dust boots, retainer flanges, two coat epoxy paint and zinc- nickel dichromate plated hardware.
Standard pressure is 150 psi but high pressure valves of 300 psi operating pressures are also available.
Tech Taylor Valve – self actuated, two or three way, free ball slurry check valve specifically designed for isolation of stand by pumps to prevent the need for multiple knife gate valves and expensive rubber lined piping components. Available is sizes 3” to 10” cast bodies and 3” to 30” fabricated bodies with flanged or Victaulic connections and pressure ratings of 150, 300, 450 and 600 psi. Lining materials include pure gum rubber, chlorobutyl, neoprene and EPDM.
T-1 Vacuum Breaker Valve – self actuated, one way , free ball slurry check valve typically mounted on the high points in a slurry pipe line to break vacuum and prevent piping collapse. Available in 4” size with flanged or Victaulic connections and pressure ratings of 150, 300, 450 and 600 psi. Lining materials include pure gum rubber, chlorobutyl, neoprene and EPDM.
